Pumps

Transfer, boosting, and dewatering pumps for plumbing and civils contractors — wholesale supply with practical sizing questions answered at the branch.

  • Centrifugal and peripheral patterns commonly used on SA sites
  • Bundles with valves, flexible connections, and controls where specified
  • Honest guidance on lead times and alternates when factories slip

Pump quotes need duty points — flow, head, fluid, and electrical supply available on site.

Pumps are energy and maintenance commitments, not impulse buys. We wholesale transfer, boosting, and dewatering pumps to contractors who already know duty points — or who will let us coach them on what to measure before money moves.

Information that keeps quotes honest

Send:

  • Flow (l/s or m³/h) and total head (m) — even a bracket helps
  • Fluid (clean water, slurry light, sewerage, chemicals — declare chemistry)
  • Suction static lift or flooded suction, and strainer preference
  • Electrical supply and any VSD requirement
  • Noise or footprint constraints on estates or rooftop plant

If the tender is silent on NPSH available, we will ask you to verify with the project engineer before we lock a selection.

Merchants

Counter teams can use our merchant desk rhythm: capture duty points on a standard form, photograph nameplates for replacements, and let us chase factory dates while you keep the customer informed.

After supply

We expect start-up checks, alignment, and electrical protection to follow manufacturer manuals. We stay available for warranty paperwork and spare impeller or seal kits where those lines are stocked.

Questions we hear often

Can you select a pump without a duty point?
Not responsibly. Share target flow, total head, suction conditions, and fluid type. If you do not have a duty point yet, we can suggest what to measure on site before you buy.
Do you install or commission?
We are a wholesale supplier. We can introduce competent installers in some regions, but commissioning scope belongs in your subcontract.
What electrical information do you need?
Voltage, phase, available breaker size, and whether a star-delta or VSD is already specified. Rural sites differ from industrial MCC rooms — photos help.
Can pumps ship with valves and HDPE transitions?
Yes — send the skid layout or a simple P&ID sketch. We align [industrial valves](/services/industrial-valves) and mechanical connections with the pump supplier’s drawings where provided.
What if the tender is vague on NPSH or suction lift?
Stop and clarify with the engineer. Cavitation from underspecified suction conditions is not a problem we solve with a bigger impeller alone.
