Challenge
Phased handovers meant some joints were welded weeks before pressure testing, and the QA consultant wanted consistent export filenames across crews.
Solution
We standardised on one machine family with compatible datalog export steps, supplied consumables in OD-specific job boxes, and aligned coupler barcodes with the project register supplied by the client.
Results
- Less rework on traceability paperwork at handover
- Fewer emergency courier runs for forgotten clamps
- Clearer accountability between crew A and crew B kits
