Challenge
The line carried treated water with intermittent chemical dosing; the buyer needed written confirmation of seat and body materials compatible with declared chemistry.
Solution
We supplied only SKUs with datasheets explicitly covering the declared range, refused ambiguous substitutes, and shipped a redundant insert kit to avoid a second site visit if the first joint was compromised during assembly.
Results
- First-trip success on a high-stress night repair
- Clear paper trail for the client’s QA file
- Repeat call-offs on the mine’s maintenance schedule
Shows why media disclosure matters as much as OD on compression jobs.
